Description

Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the Production & Maintenance Manager is responsible for all production and maintenance activities in accordance with customer requirements, established quality standards and in a manner that assures the health & safety of personnel and the compliance with environmental requirements.

Function :

• Creates and maintains a safety culture, safety being his number 1 priority

• Monitors production and maintenance operations on a daily basis in sharing information, taking or directing corrective actions, recognizing achievements in the areas of product quality, production effectiveness, safety, security, environmental concerns, operating costs

• Coordinates preventive and curative maintenance activities

• Works closely with Process and Engineering teams to define and implements investments

• Works closely with Planning and Scheduling teams

• Cooperates with QC and Warehouses and with Human Resources

• In charge of the temporary labor force to align resources with production requirements and supply priorities

• Initiates, sets up and manages the maintenance & improvements projects

• Drives the Lean activities

• In charge of the relation with sub-contractors

• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal procedures within all department’s activities

• Compliance with annual affected budgets and preparation of provisional budgets

• Establishes work procedures and makes sure employees are respecting them

• Follows Production and Maintenance KPI’s

• Contributes to social peace in maintaining high quality relations and communication with employee delegation

• Is responsible for recruiting, training, developing and retaining the production and maintenance crew. Is in charge of annual reviews. Recommends staff changes, training and promotions

• Organizes regular staff meetings

• Understands, follows and make sure the team understands and follows the Global Code of Conduct & the Anticorruption policy. Is aware of and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation

• Develops synergies with other production plants for optimal interactive cooperation

• Maintains a strict confidentiality regarding the files and any other information related to the business

• Full authority under the supervision of the Site Manager

• Relations with customers and auditors during audits, technical meetings and plant visits.

• Production team & supervision - Process technicians - Projects and external maintenance coordinator - Maintenance team & supervision

Profile :

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree (or equivalent experience)

• At least 5 years in a similar position in an industrial and multinational environment.
