Position Summary


Reporting directly to the Category Lead, the Procurement Specialist will work closely and support Procurement Managers of the Nestrade Packaging Procurement Team, on delivering key strategic cost improvement initiatives; developing and implementing effective process and tools aimed at improving productivity; and coordinating projects to deliver on our sustainability commitments.

A day in the life of a Procurement Specialist for Packaging


  • Actively participate in sourcing activities (e.g. regional tenders) for the Packaging Category.
  • Support Procurement Managers in tactical/operational activities (contract creation, price requests, cost model development & implementation, project follow up) and in Business Partnering with markets.
  • Support the Regional Procurement Managers in organizing and defining the negotiation strategy with global suppliers.
  • Develop effective communication skills by maintaining both internal and external stakeholders informed of the progress related to the different tenders.
  • Support in automatizing of procurement process and tools in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders and suppliers on key transversal projects including sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies, and standards.


What will make you successful


  • University degree (ideally in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain and/or Engineering).
  • At least 1 year of experience in an analytical role.
  • Ability to work in an international and complex environment.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office and at ease with SAP.
