Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the best pricing and terms.
  • Inventory Control: Overseeing inventory levels, optimizing stock levels, and minimizing carrying costs.
  • Procurement Strategy: Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with company objectives and growth.
  • Cost Management: Tracking and analyzing purchasing costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, and driving efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Managing a team of procurement professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in procurement and vendor management, preferably in the trading industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong supplier relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement ERP software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making.
