- In cooperation with cross functional teams and other departments, develop manufacturing plans for new products
- Responsible for development projects’ manufacturing engineering deliverables during concept, development, realization, validation, and launch phase
- Ensure compliance to safety rules, capital investment, direct labor, machine rate / cycle time, capabilities/repeatability targets and scrap assumptions established during the project
- Work with engineering team to execute and deliver projects within approved timelines and budget

Define or participate to production equipment definition (specification documents and book of duty) following Webasto Standards and lessons learned- Coordinate or participate to equipment acceptance activities with cross functional teams and other departments
- Analyze internal/external customer requirements and define risks to project activities
- Participate to PFMEA activities and report analysis to project team
- Develop or propose new ideas or solutions for equipment and tooling
Master’s degree in engineering or related field- 5+ years Manufacturing Engineering experience within automotive/manufacturing market
- Working knowledge of vehicle system level components and functions
- Solid understanding of engineering financials (Cap-Ex Planning and equipment costing) and project timelines.
- Knowledge in the application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DOE, 5S, Poka-yoke
- Knowledge of Autocad
- Fluent in English is a must. German or French is considered as an advantage
- Ability to analyze and prioritize
- Good organizational and communication skills
- International and local travel
