We are looking for a Global Process Owner, Accounts Payable and Travel to strengthen the Finance Transformation team.

Finance Transformation is responsible for Konecranes' global finance and control processes, their development and related development projects. You will work in close cooperation with the other Finance Global Process Owners as well as business stakeholders, shared service centres, IT and procurement. As a global project owner you are responsible for the development of the accounts payable and travel expense processes in a global, harmonised and effective manner, keeping the guidelines of the Finance Transformation as a whole in mind.

You will run independent development initiatives, be responsible for the finance development and implementation as part of a project team and might work as a project manager in one of our development projects.

Your key responsibilities

Own and maintain the accounts payable and travel and expense management processes
Drive the process development and support the business stakeholders in development tasks, keeping the harmonised global process in focus
Collect, analyse and challenge requirements from business stakeholders and initiate the requirement process for development items - prioritising and leading development tasks of these items based on the urgency and business case realization
Act as a product owner in the cost management, taxes and accounting agile scrum team.
Guide and ensure that 1KC processes are known, and well documented and support business in taking them into use
Stakeholder communication
Support SAP live units in business to ensure planned business benefits are realised in 1KC
Conduct process training in coming SAP implementation and support 1KC SAP implementation projects.

Global Process Owner, Accounts Payable and Travel reports to Director, Finance Transformation.

What you will bring

Relevant academic degree in economics (accounting)
Over 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting and/or finance process development work. Work experience in development projects and/or as a project manager is seen as a plus.
Knowledge and experience of processes and tools especially related to accounts payable and travel expense management processes are seen as a clear advantage.
Extensive knowledge of SAP ERP and especially the FICO modules is a big benefit.
Excellent written and spoken English skills are required.

The position requires occasional travelling.

As a person you are hands-on and have a positive "can do" attitude. You are able to see the big picture of development needs and prioritize initiatives accordingly. You are evolving and constantly striving to implement and improve processes and best practices. You have a responsible, proactive, and independent way of working, and you adapt easily to changing situations. You also have good organizational skills and strong social, cooperative and communication skills.
