To improve ourservice to our clients in Europe & Africa, we need qualified candidates toenhance our new unit sales business team in Łódź as Proposal Engineers. Theprimary responsibility of a Proposal Engineer is to develop proposals onprojects around the world regarding Reciprocating Compressors for SiemensEnergy client base. This compression technology is at the forefront of thecurrent green hydrogen energy transition.

How You’ll Make an Impact-
Work on Customer Request For Quotation (RFQ) todevelop proposal covering:
- Review of the RFQand comment of the Customer’s Technical Specification
- Performingcompressor equipment selections including other drivers and auxiliary systems
- Fully configure andpropose optimized solution(s), including sub-suppliers’ equipment, costanalysis and price preparation

Work and coordination with internal Siemens Energydepartments as well as external suppliers including.
- Siemens EnergyRegional Coordination Group, Operation-based departments, and the Field Serviceorganization
- Engagement andnegotiation with major sub-Suppliers to create mutually beneficial Client solutions.
- Complete the RiskAnalysis Management process.

Assist and support the Sales Manager:
- In driving theEnergy transition with early client engagement and technical support to bestorientate client and position SIEMENS Energy Equipment
- In developingTechnical and Commercial strategies and directing integration of technicalactivities, products, and services, including vendor suppliedequipment/services in regional proposals.
- With project orproduct presentations, coordinate and participation in client clarificationmeetings and discussions
What You Bring
- Master’s degree in engineering or related field
- Fluent English skills in speaking and writing as a must.
- Experience or education related to design/specification/operationof rotating machinery is an advantage. We will also reflect on fresh Universitygraduates!
- Working level of German is an advantage.
- Positive, robust, tolerant, and cooperativepersonality
- Strong team player with good communication, problemsolving, creativity and critical thinking skills.
- Availability and willingness to start a permanent jobin Łódź.
- Domestic and international travel is required tosupport training, project presentations, bid clarification and project kick offmeetings.
