Social Media Intern
We are looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team! Perfect for students who want to work over the holidays and a possibility to work part time even when you're back to studying!
What We Are Looking For:
We're an e-commerce flooring company (wood flooring, engineered flooring, laminate etc). We want to get out on socials - TikTok, IG and FB. TikTok has the best organic reach so you need to be really hot on creating engaging videos with a bit of humour and on trend. We're happy to take some risks and be cheeky without obviously going too far.
We're an online company but we have our warehouse in Chertsey so if you're near that would be good so you can see flooring samples etc, but this isn't necessary as we can post stuff out to you.
Flooring isn't the most exciting industry and the target audience is home owners which are probably 28 - 55 years old. These people do hang out on socials, but most of these people will have kids who have an impact on their parents buying habits. We believe in eyeballs on the brand, so the more content we have the more visibility we have.
If you're fun, creative, bursting with ideas and have a proven record of producing engaging content on your own socials, we want to hear from you! Your content can be about anything but we need to know you've got what it takes. You can't be shy in front of the camera as some videos may just be you talking about flooring!
We don't expect you to know anything about flooring so we'll explain everything to you. If you have an interest in interior design, home furnishing, it would be advantageous.
We're flexible and open to ideas about when and how you work so all these are open for discussion.
Requirements:
- Must be 16 years or older
- Must have good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
Duties include but are not limited to: Posting on multiple social media platforms. Responsible for posting on all of our social media platforms as well as creating original content. Responsible for managing our page’s followers as well as posting on other social media sites such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, etc... Responsible for creating original content such as videos, photos, text posts, etc... Responsible for creating engaging posts that will engage our followers.'

Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
