What you’ll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION

Leads supplier quality system development and optimization at different commensurate developing phase. Streamlines and standardizes supplier’s cross-function working process to driving supplier excellence.
- Maintains and optimizes supplier score card system in assisting supplier performance evaluation and management.
- Drives supplier continual improvement plan and check actual execution and effectiveness. Assesses quality system need and deploy training and lessons learned for suppliers.
- Gathers supplier audit findings and supplier issue tracker and analyze key detractors then form up effective corrective action/preventive actions for suppliers, by collaborating with both suppliers and operation/engineering team
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develops supplier management and qualification system, maintain great collaboration and build good relation with suppliers.- Implements effective SCAR system and close loop corrective action mechanism. Mentors supplier to understand then utilize problem solving techniques. Coaches suppliers to develop problem analyzing skills and also share lessons learned among suppliers and customer
- Plans regular (yearly/monthly) system and process audit, designs contingency plan for emergency case. Coordinates with engineering and supplier chain team to assure on time delivery with quality priority.
- Arranges supplier tooling qualification plan and buy-off process. Manages internal and external FAI and PPAP process in terms of component quality.
- Analyzes and publishes audit findings, categorize key detractors then drive and follow up efficiency of corrective actions/preventive actions.
- Serves as quality system and component expertise then apply commensurate training to suppliers and internal QC, technicians and engineers..
- Develops continual improvement program across suppliers to achieve and exceed quality expectation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor‘s degree in engineering discipline, 8+ years hands-on experience on supplier quality management
- Expertise on ISO9001, IATF16949 system knowledge and utilization.
- Expertise on FEMA,SPC,MSA,5 why,8D quality tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, problem solving and decision making skills.
- Strong influence, coaching and consulting skills.
- Willing to work under pressure and persistent on making improvement/change.
- Certified ISO9001 or IATF16949 auditor and 6 sigma green belt/black belt is a preferred
