Circle K eMobility Design is looking for a Service Designer to help create the future of our electric vehicle products and services. The Service Designer will be responsible for researching, designing, innovating, and prototyping new user experiences that pave the way for the future within Circle K.You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders and be a key contributor and originator in your own right. Deliverables include transcripts, prototype testing recordings, research presentations, and follow-up for proper implementation.
Candidates should possess great research skills, creative problem-solving, a great sense of aesthetics, as well as user-centered design principles. Your work will help Circle K (and the world!) transition to sustainable energy.
Key responsibilities:
Help research and define target customers
Conceive of and contribute to UX design from problem discovery
Facilitate user-journey mapping workshops based on solving user problems
Facilitate ideation workshops based on your findings and assist with the validation of prototypes
Develop creative and innovative design solutions for desktop and mobile
Iterate and improve those experiences as needed. Influence team roadmaps to include experience improvements
Build relationships and trust with stakeholders, peers and working groups, globally.
You have:
Higher education in one of the following: Design, Interaction Design, UI/UX Design, Psychology, Service Design, or a design research portfolio that shows relevant experience
A portfolio showcasing design research and storytelling
Must be skilled in Figma prototyping or willing to rapidly transition
Experience using design research methods to discover problems and opportunities a must
Experience with synthesizing large volumes of user interviews a plus
Experience with facilitation and collaborative problem-solving techniques to drive team alignment a must
Ability to help define a user experience vision and help inspire others to execute against that vision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian a must
Self-motivated, able to work independently but also collaborative with other stakeholders
Experience with driving an electric vehicle in Norway a plus
