DHL Global Forwarding, Norway is looking for a Trainee Perishables - Airfreight. You are motivated by an international environment, in which you are expected to achieve your goals in close collaboration with your colleagues throughout the region on a daily basis.
Job description:
Your primary responsibilities as Trainee Perishables Airfreight at DHL Global Forwarding Norway will be to:
- Ensure handling of required Export documents according to regulations and internal procedures in close cooperation with our Operational & Sales Team.
- Ensure a high level of Customer Service. Create, build and maintain excellent relationship with Customers.
- Weekly freight billing, invoicing and financial controlling for our Perishables department.
- Ensure customer requirements are met and take corrective actions in case of deviations from customer requirements.
- This position requires both day shifts and night shifts.
Competencies:
We are searching for a candidate, who:
- Is a fast learner & highly motivated
- Is solution oriented
- Has IT generalist knowledge
- Approved background check from the Norwegian Airfreight Authorities (we will assist with this)
- Driver’s license & access to car
- Be able to work independent
- Team oriented
- Language skills: Norwegian and English, both written and oral
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate (preferably) has:
- Results driven and attention to details
- Background in logistics, finance & marketing, both practical and theoretical, are a plus.
