As a Bid Manager...
Dealing with RFPs and quotations is a day-to-day activity within the Arxus cluster that is essential to continue our growth. They are becoming more complex and require good cooperation between the various competence centers and disciplines within the Arxus cluster, and by extension the entire Cronos Group. Our customers are also increasingly demanding end-to-end solutions in the form of a fully outsourced project approach. Bid management plays a central role in many business processes (legal, sales, finance, project, operations, ...) to achieve this.
As a Bid Manager...
-
You identify and assess your new IT project opportunities from various sources, such as portals, procurement databases, signals from the Cronos Group, etc.
-
You will manage the bid process from start to finish, including developing a bid plan, identifying and involving internal and external stakeholders, and drafting the proposal in accordance with client requirements. In many cases you do this in collaboration with other bid offices within the Cronos Group to formulate the strongest proposal.
-
You conduct a thorough review of the bid documents to ensure that all requirements are met and that the proposal meets them.
-
You lead the development of high-quality, attractive and competitive proposals, including developing proposal strategies, themes and messaging.
- You ensure the quality of proposals by reviewing, editing, proofreading content and coordinating with relevant internal teams to provide necessary input.
- Provide support and guidance to the bid team members and ensure that all deadlines are met.
- You maintain the bid library, including updating, maintaining and archiving proposals, templates and other relevant documents.
- You provide your feedback to the Arxus teams on what information and documentation they need to provide to ensure a high-quality and scalable bid process.
- You develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and partners.
What do we expect from you?
-
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
-
Excellent communication, writing and editing skills
-
Proven experience in managing and leading bid teams in the Cloud/IT sector
-
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
-
Good negotiation skills
-
Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is a plus
-
Understanding of the delivery of IT projects and technical concepts is a nice plus to present, but not essential.
What do we have to offer?
- A permanent job: we take some time to see what sort of person we are dealing with, but then we give more certainty than a real estate investment.
- The things that are simply essential ingredients these days: a competitive salary, a mobility budget that you can spend as you see fit, fringe benefits such as a meal allowance, hospitalisation and group insurance and 12 ADV (overtime worked in lieu) days.
- The chance to be truly engaged with technology and innovation. Because after all, that is exactly what we do every day. Trying to be a step ahead of the rest.
- The opportunity to be part of a growing dynamic company, with a pleasant team of colleagues who let off steam at least once a month in various team events (think: barbecues, VR gaming, karting, LAN parties, Innovation Nights etc.).
- A non-stop learning and growth process thanks to education, national and international exhibitions, conferences and knowledge sharing in the office. Hopefully you still have enough free space on your internal hard disk.
- The advantages of a smaller company and a larger organization (aka De Cronos Group): We have a flat organizational structure, but at the same time, we benefit from the economies of scale that a group of 500 companies and nearly 8000 employees can offer us.
- The Cronos Care package: a comprehensive package of free offers (did we mention that there are free massages?), concessionary prices and great discounts on all kinds of things, in conjunction with a mobility package and fun corporate events.
What more do you need to know?
We are not like other companies. And our employees even less so. We dare to be different.
We have a soft spot for people who do not fit into a particular category. Or who do not want to. People who can work smoothly in a team, but who are independent enough to self-manage projects without the training wheels. People who are serious about their job, but a lot less serious outside their job.
