- Lead and support global sales and local Key Account Manager in developing strategic OEM partnerships
- Identification of Mega Trends, Technology trends, future Customer needs, Competitor products
- Idea generation based on market needs, leading the innovation -, product release -, go2market - and product revision process.
- Product positioning and pricing, Product lifecycle management
- Training material (paper & e-learning), internal sales and PM trainings, selected customer trainings
- Quoting Tools & Standards, Campaign Management (definition, content), Customer visits & Trade Shows, NetSales 3rd, Order Entry and Margin monitoring. Publications and conference appearances.
- Define global standards & regional deviations
- Product performance monitoring & troubleshooting for core products (based on input from regions, suggesting product and process improvements to Engineering and Operations.)
- Competitor analysis & market intelligence for related products

Requirements
- bachelor's degree in Engineering, MBA or other business qualification is added advantage, or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years relevant business, sales, and engineering experience in the compressor industry (OEM, component provider) global sales role or previous success in a similar sales leadership role
- must have a customer centric mentality
- Knowledge of mechanical and structural compressor design especially rotary screw and Recip compressors
- has led and developed a team of highly educated and qualified team members
- excellent communication skills in an intercultural environment
- Sound financial understanding and experience
- continuous improvement outlook or training
- a passion for the customer and a desire to succeed through teamwork
- has been involved or has led significant and successful change projects
- experience in working in a matrix organization
