As our Quality and Food Safety Intern, you will be part of the Quality and Food Safety (QFS) team, who is End to End responsible in ensuring that effective QFS standards are in place and maintained to ensure excellence in execution throughout our value chain. The team safeguards & monitors the quality, safety and integrity of the products of the Netherlands business unit by providing support and advice. Our ambition is to; Excel in Quality & Food Safety everywhere, everyday”. To achieve this, we rely on a wide variety of standards, procedures, and processes. As our intern, you will help us verify how these standards are implemented in the daily operations Danone Netherlands.
You will be responsible for

  • Assessing current procedures;

  • Consulting stakeholders;

  • Identifying gaps and options for improvements;

  • Optimizing ways of working within the local and global Danone environment.

In addition, you will have the chance to help the team on ad hoc projects depending on the timing of your internship.

About you

You are a Master or Bachelor student in Food Quality Management, Food Safety, Technology or another related field. You are a team player. You are not afraid to ask questions and are results oriented. Also, you have good analytical skills. All in all, good communication skills, a proactive attitude and the eagerness to learn are important to bring this internship to success.

You’ll also have the following background:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);

  • Ideally available to start the 1st of September for a minimum of 6 months, 4/5 days per week;

  • You are fluent in English - oral and written;

  • You are able to work from Zoetermeer office for at least 1 or 2 days per week;

  • Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.

  • Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
