Job Description
- Own overall raw material availability, inventory plan, projection and control, Back-order, Supplier OTD. Raw material Plan (SIOP, PEFP, NPI, EOL, VAVE) , PO placement, execution, resolve level 1 issue;
- SAP Material Master creation and maintain;
- Review and analyze materials requirements for production and implement the necessary actions such as generating Purchase Order, scheduling and re-scheduling of material based on MRP requirement.
- Review and implement multi plant transfer request and MT process;
- Manage supplier base to achieve delivery performance and bring up to procurement timely; Drive issues with procurement and or other function, clear communication on impact and specific support needed;
- Responsible to generate and maintain Supply Chain Metrics on a regular basis.
- Analyze Material obsolescence and report excess material exposure when the product is discontinued.
- To review Vendor Managed Inventory PAC/JIT, forecast to supplier and ensure delivery on time
- Maintain and ensure systems and procedures in Department are in compliance with SOX, ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001, ISO13485, ISO14971, FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and other regulatory requirements.
- Participate in material review session for non-conforming materials and activate timely return of non-conforming materials to vendor.
- Manage and control of raw material inventory level to optimize stock turnover to achieve desired company inventory turn objective.
Education
- Diploma/BSc in supply chain or operation
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Min 2 years work experience in Purchasing or Materials Management
- Familiar with SAP or E1 MM applications
- Planning and Analytical Skills, including excel;
- Negotiation skill with supplier;
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to manage relationships with cross function team and all level of people from peers, colleague and Senior Management.
- Work independently and self-motivated.
- Knowledge of SAP/ E 1 MRP and PC software applications skills.
- Good problem solving and independent decision-making ability.
