Description

The Department of Medicine is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Coordinator to join our team for the UC LEND project. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating effective communication between network leadership and project members, ensuring the smooth execution of various project tasks. As the Project Coordinator, your responsibilities will include, communication facilitation by serving as a key liaison between network leadership and project members, fostering effective collaboration and ensuring efficient flow of information. You will also develop and refine project materials, including protocols, guidelines, and standard operating procedures, to ensure clarity and adherence to project objectives. In this role, you will also create, review, and manage Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications and records, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and regulations.Finally, you will collaborate with researchers and support studies and research activities as needed, providing assistance in data collection, analysis, and reporting. Target hourly rate: $18.06-$35.78

Qualifications

Required: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. * At least 1 year of full-time employment in a research setting, preferably in medicine, psychology, and/or social sciences. * Demonstrate proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, especially scheduling in Microsoft Outlook, and Acrobat. * Demonstrate proficiency in using virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Teams. * Demonstrate proficiency in collaborative document sharing such as Google Drive, Dropbox, Sharepoint, and Box. * Demonstrate understanding of IRB and Compliance requirements for research projects data request, including understanding of de-identified, limited, and identified data sets, and PHA, as defined by HIPAA. * Ability to communicate and interact with staff members from various skill levels and backgrounds, both individually and in groups. * The ability to effectively work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues. * Skilled in working independently and completing assignments with minimal directions or supervision Preferred: * Experience with online survey collection tools such as Qualtrics, REDCap, and Google Forms * Experience with Acquia and/or additional website designing platforms * Experience with video editing, graphic design, and creating accessible visual materials * Demonstrated knowledge of grant application process and requirements for completing requested forms. * Experience working with diverse populations, including autistic individuals, neurodiverse individuals, and/or individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities
