monday.com is looking for a Sustainability Lead to join our team. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing monday.com’s sustainability strategy.
This includes setting and tracking targets and KPIs, developing and managing programs, and being responsible for engaging with internal and external stakeholders on sustainability matters such as sustainability innovation, education and training, and implementing and adhering to official standards.
We are looking for a candidate who has extensive experience in sustainability or environmental management in a global tech company. You will be a strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement programs and projects. You will also have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
About The Role
- Managing the overall direction of a company’s sustainability efforts, including setting goals and measuring progress
- Developing and implementing new sustainability initiatives to meet goals set by the company’s board of directors or an external regulatory agency
- Expanding the monday.com product into new areas with sustainability in mind
- Monitoring industry trends related to sustainability in order to identify future opportunities for growth or risk areas that may require mitigation efforts
- Coordinating with external stakeholders such as suppliers, contractors, agencies, bureaus, partners and customers to ensure that they are aligned with the company’s sustainability goals
- Reviewing environmental impact assessments to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and meeting our targets
- Creating reports about the company’s sustainability performance and sharing findings with stakeholders
Your Experience & Skills
- M.A. in environmental sciences, sustainability, or a related field, an advanced degree is a plus
- Proven track record in implementing Sustainability and Environmental startegies in a tech company
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability programs, deep familiarity with regulations, standards, approaches, reporting standards, and frameworks.
- 10+ years of experience working in the sustainability field
- Excellent writing, presenting and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Deep understanding of SAAS companies, products, and metrics
