Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Technical Project Manager to join our Digitalization - New Factories team in Stockholm.
In joining us, you will play an important part from the very start in building the future of giga-scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
In joining the team, you will be responsible for driving projects of digitalizing our new factories - spread across Europe and achieve our Connected Factory visions. From the first interactions with our internal customers, over building out a dedicated project team, to overseeing design & engineering activities - you will from beginning to end drive a successful project delivery with Northvolt's in-house built MES system.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
In collaboration with Northvolt teams and external suppliers, design and build detail project plans.
Understand nuances in an ever-evolving digital factory landscape and ensure solution development
Manage and coordinate project resources to ensure project delivery during planning, design and execution phases
Establish milestones for each project, with a clear breakdown of responsibilities and deliverables from all involved parties.
Frequent interaction and coordination with Automation, Digitalization, and Process team, and with external suppliers
Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
Attitude: strong motivation for building up a technical understanding of Northvolt's Digital landscape and solutions and an exceptional drive to do whatever it takes for a successful project delivery.
Plus: Knowledge of software development, web APIs, SQL database, PLC programming
Work structure: Ability to prioritize and manage across multiple, often time-sensitive requests.
Personal skills: Exceptional stakeholder management, collaboration and communication skills
Education: Degree in Software, Mechanical or Operations Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Experiences: Project/Program management tool kit including scheduling and project leadership
Must have worked in multi-cultural environment
Specific Skills/Abilities
- Excellent English written and oral skills
- Up to 30% travel required during Commissioning phase initial ramp
- Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar
