We’re looking for an Assistant Long Life Manager - Days to join our Countdown Dargaville team.

About You | Mōu

In our next Assistant Long Life Manager - Days we are looking for the following:

  • Previous people leadership experience in a retail environment

  • A strong customer focus and excellent communication skills

  • Previous experience with ordering, stocktake and rostering systems

  • The ability to obtain a first aid, general managers and food safety certificate as well as a forklift licence

At Countdown no two days are the same but in this role overseeing all facets of the Longlife department and supporting the Department Manager, you could expect to be:

  • Training and developing team members in your department

  • Sales planning, rostering, ordering of stock and maintaining merchandise standards

  • Championing,Health,Safety and Food Safety practices

  • Implementing promotion planning with great detail and in a timely manner

The hours and days for this Long Life Manager - Days position are:

Tuesday to Saturday 0630-1600
