Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to the Contract Management Team
- Assist establishment and implementation of contractual procedures, particularly regarding claims, insurance, variation orders, correspondence and notifications.
- Support project risk and opportunity identification and analysis.
- Support all project contractual activities from hand-over from sales until all contractual obligations are complete and all contractual issues are resolved/ settled.
- Proactively support the management of claims to/from customers and partners, incl. negotiations and settlements.
- Support other teams for management of claims to/from contractors, subcontractors and suppliers as required and ensure appropriate recovery from third parties.
- Report on project claims and variations, as well as potentially critical contract issues to management and, as required, to project control, finance and audit staff.
Required Qualifications:
- Fresh graduates or minimum at 4th year of university students
- Proven academic excellence throughout their educational career, showing evidence of being on-track for a degree in a discipline: Engineering or Law
- Fluent in English and French/German
- Willing to work full-time during summer and around 20h/week during academic year
- Technology enthusiast. Passion/aptitude for both software and information technology. Up to date with current industry standards, Microsoft excel, ERP and information technology development tools
Desired Qualifications:
- Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom. Extra initiatives/engagements in student organizations is a plus
- Communicative & open- minded. Good written and verbal communication skills
- Mindset to anticipate and resolve challenges
- Previous experience in a shared service center, procurement or operations experience
- Flexible approach with a strong team spirit
- Professional style when dealing with business clients
- Compliance & controllership mindset
- Numerate with a good eye for detail
- Familiarity in SAP based ERP systems is an adder
