We are currently looking for a Data Scientist to work for our client based in Luxembourg.
Your main tasks will be:
- Ontology design: improvement and extension of existing ontologies, design of new ontologies. Existing, well-accepted vocabularies and ontologies should be adopted whenever possible.
- Elaborating specifications (conceptual level) regarding the creation, evolution, extension, harmonization, and optimization of systems and services.
- The implementation and migration of strategies (conceptual level).
- The Contribution to standardization activities that rely on semantic technology (ELI, DCAT-AP…).
- The provision of general advice on state-of-the-art and future trends regarding semantic technologies and the Semantic Web.
- Training related to semantic technologies and the Semantic Web (conceptual aspects).
- Presenting proposed solutions and general recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing consultancy in data modeling.
- Designing of tailor-made data service offers for EU Institutions.
If you have:
- University degree(s) of at least 4 years in a relevant subject.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT with proven knowledge of semantic web technologies.
- Knowledge of SKOS/OWL models, RDF, SPARQL.
- Knowledge of related programming languages such as Python.
- Knowledge of HTML5, AK4EU.
- Knowledge of Data Management
- Good knowledge of natural language processing systems lifecycle and agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with alignment models and classification methods.
- Experience with data analytics over big datasets, non-structured databases as well as data lakes
- Good knowledge of English (Level B2 - CEFR)
