The Manager for Project Completion Engineers is part of the Project Excellence team and reports to department Manager for Project Completion on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities include providing the highest level of service towards the projects & alliances in Aker BP.
Typical tasks will include:
- Build and develop a functional home for the Project Completion Engineers across projects and alliances, including:
- Competence development of engineers.
- Drive development of engineer’s forums and networks.
- Alignment with other professional forums and networks in Projects and other BUs.
- Development of methods and tools within area of responsibility.
- Maintaining strong relationships with project and alliances.
- Ensure sufficient manning according to projects and alliances needs and requirements.
- Provide leadership and direction to the team and ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety and the environment to achieve project and alliance expectations.
- Build a culture based on openness and trust.
- Position may be combined with other operational roles within Project Completion.
Qualifications:
- M.Sc./ B.Sc. in engineering/technology
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within Project Execution, Project Management and/or Resource Management
- Understanding of/experience with one or more delivery lines will be valued; Facility, Drilling, Reservoir, HSSEQ, Operations and/or Commercial
- Fluent in English and Norwegian
