We are now looking for a Specialist Instrument Engineer who wants to join our team and who can strengthen our capabilities within New Energies Consultancy.

In the developing energy mix, commercial risks are as prominent as technical risks, and our consultancy will provide broad multi-faceted advice to our customers. This developing market, coupled with an unprecedented demand for our execution experience, means that we are looking to grow our consultancy team with technical, consulting and commercially minded individuals who can help us meet the challenge of a just and orderly energy transition.

What will you be doing?

  • Be a part of a qualified Engineering team and develop your engineering abilities by working with highly skilled engineers
  • Take responsibility for discipline deliverables
  • Technical responsible for instrument design and activities for the assigned project
  • Get results together with offshore and onshore operators
  • Cooperate closely with vendors finding the optimal solution
  • Sporadic offshore travels
  • Active participate in relevant process/ safety reviews
  • Contribute to the development of methodology, tools, and competency
  • Implementing field life solutions for our customers and work together with large clients within the energy industry

We think you should have:

  • You are an experienced and engaged instrument engineer with 10 years + of experience from the energy sector
  • Experience in design of concept, project studies, FEED verification and detail design
  • Extensive knowledge with international codes and standards required
  • Solution oriented with good communication and collaboration skills
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations and standards
  • A commercial mindset, good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethics and a proactive attitude
  • Good communications skills
  • The ability to see solutions together with meeting customer expectations and requirements
  • The competency to be accurate, flexible, and organized
  • Solid command of Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
