Alstom Bangkok is looking for a Software Integration & Test Engineer having a deep interest in software testing and test methodologies for software intense for railway Signalling System. You will work in a global team to ensure the software meets its functional, safety and availability targets. You will be a key contributor to the quality of the Signalling System delivered to customer.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform the integration testing of functions and interfaces as per System Requirements and Design Specifications.
- Define analysis and testing methodology for selected deliverables
- Analyse system specification and create test cases to properly test the system functions.
- Define additional test descriptions based on own experience of similar software in similar environments
- Manage the various configuration of testing labs.
- Define requirements for simulators needed for testing.
- Execute the tests, analyse results, identify issues.
- Ensure verifiability of requirements and traceability from tests to requirements
- Verify configuration of development tools
- Ensure the highest level of automation of the analysis and test activities
- Continuously improve the test process by identifying areas for improvement to increase quality and reduce cost and delay.
- Provide valuable feedback for Return of Experience (REX) sessions and continuous improvement.
Education:
Bachelor of Computer engineering, Computer Science, Information System (or related).
Key Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in software testing.
- Experience in development or test of industrial products and complex systems.
- Experience in setting up common test hardware and installing software.
- Knowledge of Linux, Window Server, SQL, MongoDB, Networking and protocols
- Script Languages (Shell utilities), JSON, JavaScript, PowerShell
- Experience in Railway Domain is an additional advantage.
- Professional working proficiency (or above) in English is a must.
