About the Role
Reporting to the Factory Manager/General Manager the role involves the entire Injection Moulding process in our Sunshine Coast Injection Moulding Facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Maximum levels of production output are achieved and maintained by working within the team.
- Meet with Die setters/Plastic technicians daily to plan and assist the days production. Complete production plans by assisting to establish priorities.
- Review Production output, scrap rate and cycle times from the previous day and identify problem areas for investigation and improvement.
- Identify machinery that requires repair, optimization, automation, new parts, or components.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement in the manufacturing process.
- Assist in the training and education of the team.

About You
- Experience with Moulding wide range of polymer materials.
- 7-10 years Plastic Injection Moulding experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with large Plastic Moulding machines preferred.
- Production and process development/ improvement experience is an advantage.
- Technical qualifications in Plastic manufacturing are highly desired.
- Ability to build good working relationships within and between teams.
- Electrical Knowledge of Plastics machinery preferred, including fault finding experience.
- Experience with Robotics and Automation.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
