Your new working environment
Our department, Diagnostic Tool Development & Production Software, lies within the Volvo Penta Global Parts & Services – Parts & Service Engineering organization. We are responsible for development of Volvo Penta’s diagnostic tool VODIA™, development of Volvo Product Simulator (utilized by the whole Volvo Group) as well as securing software distribution in both Volvo Penta’s own production facilities and in shared Volvo Group production sites.
Our tools are used by thousands of engineers and technicians all around the world, supporting our customers in high uptime and excellent service.
As the Product Owner of VODIA™ and future diagnostic tools, you own and maintain the product lifecycle including strategic direction and product backlog, manage risks and issues raised against the product. The business team currently exists of three requirement engineers, and you will work in close cooperation with Volvo Group IT and Volvo Penta Technology in developing and writing business requirements. We have a lean and agile way of working and you will be a part of the Product Owner Team where we have representatives from both Business and Group IT. The team also maintains a line organization responsibility for the tools and processes we develop.
Competences
- A university degree, at least B.Sc.
- Years of experience in requirement elicitation
- Product Owner or leadership experience
- Region, Dealer and Customer experience is meriting
- Competence in Volvo Group embedded software process as well as electrical architecture and Volvo Penta business knowledge is meriting.
