- Provide excellent nursing services to all patients to achieve prompt recovery.
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care.
- Develop nursing plans based on data and priorities.
- Efficiently implement the prepared nursing plan.
- Evaluate the quality of nursing services provided and correct errors.
- Protect patients from infections and injuries while providing health education.
- Prepare patients and necessary equipment for clinical examinations and assist the physician in examination procedures.
- Administer treatments following the department head's directives and physician's orders.
- Implement the general nursing plan according to clinic policies and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs of patients, notifying the physician or department head of any significant developments in the patient's condition.
- Administer injections and medications as per physician's orders.
- Collaborate with colleagues.
- Maintain records of equipment and medical supplies in the department.
- Inspect all medical equipment within the department and ensure its suitability for use.
- Notify the department head in case of any emergencies.
- Attend and participate in department meetings and administrative meetings related to the department.
- Provide advice and guidance to new nursing staff.
- In case a patient refuses a crucial procedure, convince them; if complete refusal persists, obtain their signature on the refusal.
- Safeguard patient confidentiality.
