This is a full-time Environmental & Health Safety Specialist role based in Dudelange. It is a hybrid role, implying that the role is located in Luxembourg, but some work abroad is to be considered.The Environmental Health Safety Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety programs, systems, and policies to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Environmental Health Safety Specialist will also provide training, conduct audits, and investigate incidents and accidents to propose preventive measures and coordinate our teams on site on strategic projects.
Qualifications
Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in health and safety, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience with implementing health and safety programs, systems, and policies.
Excellent knowledge of applicable local and international regulations and standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Experience with incident reporting and investigation, including root cause analysis, and the ability to recommend corrective actions.
Ability to conduct health and safety training and to develop training materials.
Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST) or equivalent are a plus.
