YOUR TASKS
Reporting to Customs Clearance Supervisor, you will be responsible for
- Review flight manifest data for any prohibited & restricted articles
- Finalize flight manifests for customs clearance entries of inbound / outbound shipments and transshipments
- Submit flight manifest data to respective airlines or customs, and lodge e-manifests to the Government for in / outbound hub flights
- Monitor customs clearance status and liaison with customs & airlines to expedite flight pre-clearance
- Assemble supporting documents for clearance, e.g. license, permit and updating system with customs charges to create invoices to customers
- Perform the above tasks in accordance to DHL performance standards, the regulatory requirements and the instructions of customs in a timely manner
YOUR PROFILE
- Diploma holder or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' working experience, preferably in airport, airlines, express, international transportation, freight forwarding
- Experience in customs clearance matter, trade declaration, license and permit handling is an advantage
- Good customer services, analytical, communication and inter-personal skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese, Putonghua is preferred
- Proficient in PC skills, including hands-on application of MS office such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint with typing speed of 30 wpm
