Job Description


Working as an Administration Assistant, your core objective is to co-ordinate medical documentation for medico-legal assessments and to provide administrative support across Medilaw's operations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating all activities associated incoming documents including following up with customers and providing files to specialists
  • Answering the phone to all clients and managing appointment related enquiries
  • Provide support to reception; greet visitors, advise appropriate parties of arrival
  • Provide administrative support to medical specialists
  • Provide administrative support to other teams as required

Qualifications


We are seeking someone who is highly organised, reliable and takes accountability for their work. As we are ‘one team’ you will be expected to work collaboratively and support your colleagues, as they will you! On a personal level, you must be able to show initiative, common sense and calmness under pressure. Your diplomacy, confidentiality and integrity will be highly regarded.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administration role
  • Be highly organised and able to multi-task effectively;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • A problem solving and proactive attitude;
  • Strong Office 365 skills; proficiency in Word and Excel, strong numeracy skills, accurate data entry and typing skills and strong database management skills;
  • A proven ability to work within a team;
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, workers compensation; processes/legislation and/ or life insurance industry experience would be desirable, but not essential.
