Meme Brooks Design, a small and dynamic interior design/renovations/home staging company, is in search of an ambitious, skilled, stylish interior decorator to assist our head designer on site and in the studio. Our projects include renovations, decorating and home staging projects around Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
We pride ourselves on creating and nurturing long term relationships with our fabulous clients and team members. Selling a property or renovating and outfitting a home with new furniture can be an overwhelming and stressful process - we are here to make the process easy, stress free and fun. Key tasks for this position include:
Home Staging:
- Attend client meetings, consultations & quotes
- Prepare staging proposals & admin documents
- Oversee and implement established staging processes
- Design and style condos and houses
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and trades
- Light cleaning, lifting, driving and organizing inventory
- Hanging artwork and other minor handy skills (we can teach you!)
Requirements for this position:
Must haves:
- Diploma in Interior Design from an accredited institution
- Driver's License (and comfortable driving around the city)
- Punctual & reliable
- Impeccably presented and professional with style
- Excellent client relation and customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

- Hardworking, proactive and a motivated self-starter
- Willing to learn and able to follow orders with versatility
- Extremely organized and obsessively detailed
- Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision
- Efficient and effective, able to work calmly under pressure
- Comfortable using light tools and somewhat handy (or willing to learn)
