Responsible for ensuring all luggage, letters, guest belongs are delivered to guests and guest suites in a professional, efficient and timely manner, adhering to LQA and security guidelines.
Functional Accountabilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Hotel, including all departments, services and outlets
- Managing of guest luggage storage
- Ensure to be present and aware of all V.I.P / High profile guests checking-in, out and strategic focus on groups
- Delivery of guest belongings and luggage
- Assist door, driveway and lobby team in arrival process
- Efficiently Manage email correspondence and telephone requests
- Obtain guest preferences
- Adhere to task list & step by steps for daily activities and chores
- Management & maintenance of hotel flags
- Management & maintenance of newspaper requests and inventory
- Attend and present and meetings and briefings
- Ensuring that he / she adheres to all hotel and company standards, Business conduct and ethics, policies and procedures including Health, Hygiene & Safety
- Assisting other Rooms Division departments whenever needed as requested by Management
Experience and Technical Knowledge
- Previous concierge/guest relations experience in hospitality industry
- Minimum of 2 Years of Experience in 5 star hotel
- Basic hospitality and Guest Services knowledge
- International experience/International travel
Qualifications
- Secondary Education or equivalent
- College Diploma in Hospitality Management
- Hotel school graduate or Front Office Operations
- Preferably 1 additional language (Arabic, Russian, Chinese, French, Spanish, Italian, German)
- Basic knowledge of OPERA PMS
