Your role
- Creation and follow-up of Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders in Ariba and SAP
- Liaise with global procurement teams to get yearly price adjustments or new price negotiations
- Contact vendors to follow up order acknowledgements, confirmed delivery dates, timely receptions of products
- Manage item attributes such as lead-time, price, MOQs, etc. and proceed with updates in the system
- Track RM receipts, allocate RM to appropriate costs centers and projects and inform Planning and Procurement expert on availability of items
- Manage ordering process for pre-packed columns and cell banks
- Contribute to item master data maintenance for RM including new item code creations. Ensure the consistency and quality of data
- Interface with Global Procurement, Operational Teams, Warehouse & Distribution, Quality, Finance
- Minimum 5 years experience in procurement
- Good knowledge of Pharma and Biotech industry with its related constraints
- Specific education in Procurement or strong proven experience in this field
- Proficiency in SAP (S4/Hana) P2P and Ariba, knowledge of MDGM
- Understand Master Data, supply chain challenges and manufacturing processes
- High analytical skills & quick learning skills
- Strong business Partnership mindset and profound knowledge of processes and interactions across all functions
- Fluent in English and French
